Launching Out
In March our church officially sent out Javier and his family to plant a new church on the other side of the country. Shortly after, they loaded up the moving truck and left on a bus. They got there 18 hours later. They will spend the first few weeks setting up their apartment and church. After that, they will start working towards their first service. If you would like to get involved financially let me know and pray that God does great things through them as they launch out!
Proven Faithful
We also had the opportunity to ordain Pastor Fredy Osorio. We sent him out last April to plant a new church and he has proven to be faithful. Not only are he and his wife working full-time jobs, but they are doing a great job growing their new church. They have seen people saved, baptized, and their reach has extended. Pray that God continues to give them strength and fruit. If you would like to help them financially let me know and pray that God blesses them in a mighty way!
Training Laborers
Alejo is a young man who has become a key servant in our ministry. I took him though our discipleship program and have now encouraged him to disciple someone else. He is now co-discipling Sebastian with me, a young man who got saved at camp last year. I told Alejo that after this, he can try it on his own and he agreed. Pray as they both grow through this process. It is paramount that we train laborers!
Divine Appointment
One day I got a random phone call. It was an elderly man named Tomás. He is a retired engineering university professor. We talked and I listened to a man in whose life God had obviously been working for decades. He told me he couldn’t put it off any longer and decided that he needed to surrender himself to Jesus Christ. A few minutes later he got saved. What a privilege to be a part of God’s divine appointments!
