Preaching and Reporting
During the past couple months I had the opportunity to preach and report. I was invited to my home church to preach their Spring Conference. God moved, people were encouraged, and a young man got saved. We were also invited to a missions conference at a supporting church in Ohio. It was great to encourage people about all that God is doing in Colombia. That church is now considering a missions trip down here to see things first hand.
Reconnecting
When I was thirteen I met Dan in middle school. He and his family began to plant seeds in my life about knowing and following God. Later, in high school Dan invited me to a Christian winter camp. I heard the Gospel and got saved. Thirty-six years later Dan (now one of our supporters) brought his family down to see the work God is doing in Colombia. We reconnected and rejoiced together about how good our God is. What a blessing for friends that encourage us in Christ!
Winning Family
Vivian has been attending our church for several months now. She has been faithful and growing. At a recent Salvation Sunday she brought her Catholic mother to the service. At the conclusion of the service her mother Ruth responded to the invitation and trusted in Christ. Praise God for the burden he puts in our hearts to reach loved ones with the Gospel. Don’t give up. God wants you to win your family!
Growing Up
In April we poured the slab for the third floor. The sanctuary is now closed in and it is impressive to envision how things will be. We have one floor left and then the structure will be complete. Please consider giving if you haven’t yet. We still need funds to complete the interior of the building. I must confess, as the building continues upwards, and God continues to prove himself, I am growing right alongside it.
