Medical Missions

Recently, we had the privilege of going down to the Amazon for our yearly medical missions trip. There was a total of 24 in the group. I took my daughter, Lily, and Alejandro, a teen from our church. Some trip highlights were a Catholic priest, a curaca (mayor of village), and a woman from an unknown tribe getting saved. Overall, 58 trusted Christ from 4 different jungle villages. We thank God for the opportunity to participate in this ministry and be used to reach others!

Following the Lord

It is always such a joy to watch believers take steps to start living for God. This past month we were thankful to watch 8 more get baptized. They are all so different and from such unique backgrounds. We baptized young people, couples, singles, and soldiers. God is so good! Regardless of personality, background, or culture, God’s fruit manifests itself the same way: humble, obedient servants who want to forget what’s behind in order to start following the Lord.

New Church Growth

Pastor Fredy Osorio, one of our new pastors, invited me to preach a few weeks ago at his church. My family and I were blessed to see that after barely  one year their little building was full. God is blessing Fredy’s hard work and adding new families. They recently baptized 5 more. Pray for them as they make some possible adjustments to facilitate God’s work in their lives and what He plans for this new work.

Youth Conference

We did something new for our youth group activity. We had a joint youth conference between our church, one of our new church plants, and my missionary friend Peter Putney’s church. It was such a great turnout that we have decided to make it a quarterly event looking forward to camp at the end of the year. Please pray that God calls some of these young people to serve in full-time ministry.
