Sweet Fellowship
Just after the first of the year we had a short camp out in a nearby mountain community. The purpose was to help integrate new church attenders into our body of believers. It was a sweet success as the people made several personal connections with each other. Everyone left feeling included and loved, just like they were part of the family. Praise the Lord, everyone that enjoyed that fellowship continues to be a regular part of our ministry. Pray that God establishes them in the church.
Finishing Strong
We finished up our first full cycle of our Bible institute. It was such a blessing to see our first two students (Paula and Fredy) graduate. Pray that God mightily uses them both. Paula and her husband are learning sign language with a vision for the deaf and Fredy is actively serving with his heart set on full time ministry. They worked hard and finished. What a blessing! Pray for them as they move forward.
120 Counties
The word of God continues to bear fruit as we share the Gospel. We have seen people saved through soul-winning, our people’s own efforts, and at a social foundation we minister at. In fact, the foundation spoke to us recently about the opportunity to preach in all 120 counties of the state we live in. We would work together with them going into each community to present Christ. The crazy part is, is that it would all be sponsored by the local government! Pray that God gives much fruit.
Nursery Madness
We have long prayed for more young families. Well, they showed up, and there are babies on the way too. We recently had a stampede in the nursery do to overcrowding and the kids broke down the door (baby gate)! Although it can be hectic, we are thankful God has answered our prayers. Recently, several of those same families decided to dedicate their precious children to the Lord. Please pray for the little ones.
