Still Going
In our last report I mentioned a work God was doing in the midst of one particular family. Well, it is still going. To the right of me in the picture above you will see the latest miracle. Monica, accepted Jesus as her Savior as we concluded another meeting in a city called Bello just north of Medellin. So now that makes a total of 5 saved as a result of one trusting Christ at our church. Praise the Lord! He still saves souls!
He can do it for me

I am discipling a young man named Oscar. I wrote about him also in our last report. He is newly saved and growing rapidly devouring every assignment given to him. He is from one of the more dangerous parts of the city and has a very checkered past. Oscar is fighting one day at a time and is gaining the victory little by little. I am amazed at the never ending mercy of our God. So also, is Oscar. He said to me recently, after talking about the saving grace of God in the lives of horrible men, “If God can do it for them, He can do it for me too.” Pray for Oscar as he fights his battles against a myriad of obstacles. I know God can give him the victory because He gave it, and gives it, to me and you!
Loving the Unloved
We recently visited a mission downtown that assists with the homeless and drug addicts here in the city. It was very impacting to hear of some of the situations that these young men and women had endured. We talked to ex-assassins, ex-prostitutes, and helpless orphans forced into horrible lifestyles. After sharing a testimony with our church later on, several approached me with a desire to do more. Pray for us as we begin to minister in this desperately needy area and love the unlovely just as Christ would have us do.
Unseen resistance
We have been witnessing to Adriana, a woman who works near our apartment. She always has questions and is avidly searching the Bible for truth. Pray for her as she has received resistance from locals for talking to people who are not Catholic about God.
