Rise up and build
10 years has passed since our last building project. We have prayed, saved, and waited on God to provide a larger space in a more central location. God allowed us to sign papers and purchase a piece of property a few weeks ago. Thanks to all who gave. We now have to get permits, demolish the current building, design and submit plans, and start building. We zeroed out our building fund on the purchase, and we need your continued financial help so we can rise up and build!
Never return void
Recently, I worked with my friend Peter Putney and 5 other pastors in an evangelistic campaign for a new church plant on the northern coast of Colombia. One night a visiting woman came and got saved after services. A few nights later she returned with a half a dozen friends and several of them got saved too. She told me afterward she had picked up a crumpled up invitation to the campaign on the street and decided to come. Keep sharing God’s word. It never returns void!
I have decided
Of all that make the decision to trust Jesus as their Savior, not nearly as many follow the Lord in believer’s baptism. We had the privilege to disciple and baptize 3 young men recently. One, a young boy, another, a single, self-employed young man, and the last, a mathematics masters student. All are different, but all were obedient. God wants us all to decide follow Jesus with our lives.
Happily ever after
What a joy it is to see Christian couples join together in holy matrimony. For José and Rocío it was no different. Although they got married a little later in life, it was still a blessing to see. They are both humble, servant-hearted, and dedicated to Jesus Christ. I wish them nothing less than God’s richest blessings on their new union together and pray that they magnify God and truly live happily ever after.
