When this year started off we didn\u2019t know quite what to expect. God has answered our doubts with unmistakable clarity. We have seen more than we ever expected. Attendance has been up higher than ever before, people have been getting saved and baptized, people have been getting discipled, and there is an overall spirit of growth and spiritual desire. We praise the Lord for His faithfulness and for your powerful prayers.
\nWe are almost halfway through our year, which we gave the theme, \u201cEveryone Reaching One,\u201d and that is exactly what is happening. With a building project on the horizon, I must say, we are truly living and experiencing some very exciting times.<\/p>\n
One day after our discipleship lesson on baptism, Humberto approached me and told me, \u201cPastor, I want to get baptized.\u201d \u201cI want to do everything right that I can, and I don\u2019t want to miss out on any blessings.\u201d Praise the Lord! He got baptized, and has been continuing to grow spiritually. He recently told me his old priest approached him and asked where he had been. He said he had found what he had been looking for and was now studying and learning the Bible. The Truth does set us free!<\/p>\n
Lined had been attending one of the largest Charismatic churches in the city. She later told me the emotional feelings were no longer satisfying. She wanted a place to learn the Bible. She heard about us through a local Christian radio station. She said that with all she was learning now she felt as if she were in a different world than before. \u201cI never knew…\u201d Praise God for the Bible!
\nPaola came under similar circumstances. She too is growing and is now one of our most faithful soul winners. How sad when she first told me, \u201cI thought the Jehovah\u2019s Witness\u2019 were the only ones that did that.\u201d \u201cNo ma\u2019am,\u201d I said. \u201cThey stole that from the Christians.\u201d Praise God their lack of knowledge is disappearing.<\/p>\n
